School's out!

The year is done - really can't believe it, but school's finished.

Today I gave away 240 squares of caramel slice....! I still have a few more to make, and my kids want some for us too.

Next year will bring changes in terms of school - my big three will all be in Primary school, so no more parent reading or Infants' sports day to do. It's Rosie's last year before high school. Lucy starts preschool. And I will hopefully get some casual work.

Anyway - I for one am looking forward to the holidays...

  1. Squares look yummy. They look alot like the squares we call Naniamo Bars http://www.canadianliving.com/food/nanaimo_bars.php I'm guessing your filling has caramel and icing sugar?
Hope you and your family have fun holiday times and a Merry Christmas too!

I am sure your children's teachers felt very appreciated.
I must look for tins, they look so much nicer then cellophane bags.
